Designed to backup servers, workstations and portables, the oobu backupVault is a end user site appliance that backs up data to both itself and our remote data silos.

The oobu backupVault has many advanced features including local storage for LAN speed restores, support for MS Exchange and MSSQL servers and multiple backup sets with retention policies.  It also has many other features found on Enterprise backup systems.

For those who do not require the security of an offsite backup, but still want the convenience and reliability of a local disc based backup solution, the backupVault can run as a stand alone unit where it can provide up to 500GB of local, LAN based backup.

Operating in its offsite mode, the backupVault mirrors all of the backup data it contains to one of our high security Data Silos thereby providing full Data disaster recovery.

As a self contained unit, it is simple to deploy, does not require any additional hardware and provides you with the ability to remotely restore customer’s data without the need to visit site or worry about backup media.

oobu backupVault is a simple, low cost appliance that runs the oobu backup service.  It can operate both as a stand alone local backup appliance or additionally as the gateway to the offsite backup (whilst still providing LAN speed local backup and restores).

The service comes with an optional seed load to load first copy of the data.
